Young people are spending more time looking at internet sites than watching TV for the first time, a survey has revealed.
They spend, on average, 23 hours a week online and 17 hours a week in front of the box, the poll of 16 to 25-year-olds found.
67 per cent said they would be ‘lost’ without their PC. Only 46 per cent of the 1,300 questioned said the same about their TV.
However you may be pleased to note that most young people still have old fashioned values as 80 per cent expect to marry and have children, the Tech Tribe Report 2006 revealed.
Perhaps they are spending most of their time on line at match.com then?
